I'm almost done filling in the driveway side planting bed. Today I planted the Purple Rhododendron, Mountain Fire Pieris, 2 Heather's, Coral Bells, and a Lily.
I also noticed a couple of things today. My Russian Sage is getting flowers and the Stonecrop Sedum Angelina seems to really like the rock garden in the gravel.
Another thing I noticed today was why Redbuds are called Redbuds. I had guessed it was because of the pink flowers they get.... but after looking at the Redbuds today, I get it..... there new leaves come in a red color, which is something I hadn't noticed in the spring.
