Burried Cable Lines

For the last I don't know how many months Tim has been calling the cable and phone people to come out and burry the darn lines. This has been going on for a long time now. First they said they couldn't do it, cause at the time we didn't have final grade. Then when we got final grade, they didn't come out cause they forgot about us. The last time Tim talked to them he told them to call first, now that we have landscaping someone needs to be here so they don't rip things up.
Well... at 7am, the door bell rang..... yep they sure called ahead first. I was on my way out and Tim was sleeping. You have to love contractors.
Anyways..... talk about not caring about what you are doing.... The one guy did use a machine to dig through the gravel, but the other dug the rest of the 90 feet by hand with a shovel..... the crookedest zig-zag line EVER. We were baffled as to why they didn't use the machine the entire way.
We both agreed that we should've just have done it ourselves. Tim said he'll just redo it himself tomorrow.
