Circle - Stone (area C)

Sunday, April 22

Today finished off the cider block foundation and got more than halfway laying the wallstone down. It's getting pretty hard now, due to the bottom of the barrel of last years stones.

Circle - back to work again

Saturday, April 21

Well... here we go again... back to work on the circle hardscape. I started on "Area C" today. This area is lower than the last one, but will be filled with gravel nuggets as well. I started with laying out the foundation cider blocks.

One of my errand runs today was to purchase some shrubs. I bought a Heather, a Blue Star Juniper and an Emerald 'N Gold Euonymus. Heather's are kinda cool. They're an evergreen with tiny purplish flowers.

Cut & stacked logs

Friday, April 13

This time I joined in the fun of cutting and moving the last of the logs. We tried to get them out of the way, so that we'll be able to seed as much of that area as possible.

Cut Log & Landscaping Plan - Planting

Monday, April 9

During the day, Tim and my Dad were doing some brunt work cutting and moving the pile of logs that we had moved to the back yard last year. We figured we'd get those out of the way, since there was a possibility for our landscaper to be dropping of some landfill in the next month.

The landscaping plan I'm working on is starting to come together. The next step to the landscaping plan was to print it out and then started sketching ideas over it, with tracing paper. I applied them to the digital Master Plan I made to make the Planting Plan, starting with the front entrance patio area.

Monday, April 2

I measured everything in the yard, that hadn't been on the survey, and applied them to the Master Plan.
