Today I got a couple of surprises. The first came from a call from Tim today. He made me smile by telling be our hummingbirds are back. I love seeing them... they're fun to watch.... except they always seem go to the side of the feeder that we can't see them. I get sad cause when they go to that side, all I see is their butts.
The second surprise was seeing the Candymint Crabapple in bloom. Last year it only had a couple of flowers, this yr half the tree is covered. It's such a vibrant cool color to see when you pull in.
Another nice vibrant color to see when you pull in is the Japanese Maple, which is a deep burgundy color that pops right out of the green grass.
